About VISION:8291
In collaboration with SXSW, and other partners, this vision emphasizes using artistic, entrepreneurial, and cultural assets within the Austin BIPOC community to invest in and develop the city equitably.
By developing BIPOC creatives and organizations, it is our belief that a hidden cultural and artistic jewel will be rediscovered, new pathways to economic and community growth will be paved, and a previously buried economic engine for the city will be unlocked.

The 2023 UN Water Conference is a prestigious event held by the United Nations to address the global water crisis and promote sustainable water management practices.
Moses West, founder of the
Moses West Foundation, has been invited to attend as a keynote speaker and representative of the foundation’s innovative atmospheric water generation technology. The foundation has been making significant strides in providing clean and safe water in areas where traditional water sources are scarce or contaminated.
Moses’ participation in the conference is a testament to his commitment to advancing sustainable solutions and his contributions to the global effort to achieve

Moses A. West is a former US Army Ranger and the inventor of the most efficient Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) system.
As the founder of the Moses West Foundation, he is committed to providing access to clean and safe water in areas where traditional water sources are scarce or contaminated.
Moses’ AWG system is a game-changing next-generation atmospheric water generation platform that can produce commercial volumes of both potable and drinking water to support critical ecosystems in need of water for drinking, agriculture, waste management, and other domestic commercial applications.
His work has been recognized globally, and he has received numerous awards, including the 2023 King Centers Beloved Community Award, presented to him by Dr. Bernice King, the daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King.

Walking On Water Initiative + The Green Campaign

The Walking On Water Initiative, a collaboration between the Green Campaign, the Moses West Foundation, Denim Tears, and Dash Radio, aims to promote sustainable innovation and drive positive change in communities. The event will feature engaging presentations on sustainable water generation and urban agriculture, interviews with local musicians, and commemorative sustainable water bottles. The goal is to empower the local community and youth by offering practical steps for promoting sustainability. The event is in collaboration with DAWA’s Vision 8291 Initiative, which seeks to create a supportive and equitable community in Austin, Texas. The schedule includes a pop-up, introduction to AWG technology, local Austin initiatives, and performances by Rashid Varsity P Littlejohn and AY Young.
