Carver Water Technology builds and services water and wastewater treatment equipment to the same standard the Army holds itself to.
Direct experience repairing and overhauling Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Units and Tactical Water Purification Systems, through partnership channels supporting Army water purification programs.
We own multiple 600 GPH containerized Seawater systems for immediate deployment, current TMs on hand, established mil-spec parts sourcing, and an co-located mil-spec paint shop.
A 1,000,000 Gallon/day wastewater treatment package that fits inside a standard shipping container footprint, requires no chemicals, and stands up faster than any fixed-plant alternative.
Built for echelons above brigade (EAB) and division-level engineer commands that need real wastewater capacity in an austere environment,
The Army Reserve's two Theater Engineer Commands, the 412th TEC (Vicksburg, MS) and 416th TEC (Darien, IL), already field ROWPU systems across their formations. What most reserve engineer units don't yet have is a comparable containerized solution for wastewater. Water purification and wastewater treatment are two halves of the same mission set. One without the other is an incomplete capability.

Current fleet of "Andros Class" containerized 600 GPH seawater RO systems, built to ROWPU performance class
6000 GPH ROWPU-class system design, ready for program requirements
Direct ROWPU and TWPS repair and overhaul experience through partnership with the Moses West Foundation and prime contractor relationships supporting US Army water purification programs
Current Technical Manuals on hand for reference and field repair
Established sourcing for mil-spec parts and components across ROWPU and TWPS equipment
Current Technical Manuals on hand for reference and field repair
Established mil-spec parts sourcing and in-house mil-spec paint shop
1 MGD flow rate wastewater treatment capacity per package unit, scalable to 10+ MGD with multiple units
Compact, container-like footprint suited to deployed and austere environments
No chemical dosing required, physical/biological filtration only
Factory-assembled and pre-piped, cutting on-site installation time
No moving parts in the filtration bed, minimal operator attendance required
A Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU) is a self-contained, mobile water treatment system that converts seawater, brackish water, or contaminated freshwater into potable water in the field. The Army fielded ROWPU technology starting in the 1970s to replace older distillation equipment that was slower, harder to maintain, and less flexible on source water. ROWPUs remain in service today across corps, division, and brigade-level water purification elements.
The Tactical Water Purification System (TWPS) is the newer generation of containerized, skid-mounted water purification equipment the Army has fielded alongside and in some cases in place of legacy ROWPU units. TWPS units are designed for the same mission (potable water production from any source in a deployed environment) with updated automation, controls, and mobility. We work on both legacy ROWPU and current TWPS equipment.
Carver Water Technology repairs and overhauls ROWPU and TWPS equipment through partnership channels supporting Army water purification programs, backed by current Technical Manuals and established mil-spec parts sourcing.
Andros Class is Carver Water Technology's internal designation for our large-capacity commercial and mil-spec-class RO systems, including the 600 GPH containerized seawater RO unit we maintain on-site.
